Welcome to Minehead Tai-Chi

Beginners classes on Wednesdays from 6.30pm.

This is the site of Adam Lammiman, I teach Tai-Chi in the West Somerset area.

I am an advanced instructor with both The Tai Chi Union of Great Britain (the governing body for Tai Chi in the UK) and the Zhong-Ding Chinese Martial Arts Asscociation.

If you need to contact me then you can email me at ajlammiman@hotmail.com or phone me on 07801 598686

I try to make classes open, relaxed and above all fun. It's important to me to make Tai-Chi accessible to as many people as possible, so all can share it's benefits whether they are interested in it as a full martial art or as simply a gentle form of exercise. Beginners are welcome at any time and classes are drop in so there is no need to pay course fees up front.

Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art, a form of what is commonly known as 'Kung-Fu' in the West. It's classed as an 'internal' martial art, which means it's physical and philisopical basis is the cultivation, through gentle relaxed movement, of good alignment and posture coupled with a calm and steady state of mind. This means it has benefits for both young and old alike that range far outside it's martial application.

If you want more information about the classes I teach and directions to them then have a look in the classes section, if you wish to know more about Tai-Chi and the style I teach then have a look in 'What is Tai-Chi' and if you want to know more about me then have a look at 'About The Teacher'.

I have started blogging again, it will be a mixture of my own writing and links to other sites of interest. I'm hoping it will become a bit of an online resource for everyone who comes to the class. There's a permanent link on the navigation to the left, or you can click here.
